Jumpers !

Jacquie, one of the supporters of HATW is a great knitter !   She collects and knits up odd wool into jumpers which we send out to chilly children in Africa.    And yes, it can be VERY cold in Africa !  Parts of Kenya, for example are at quite a high altitude, and the temperature drops rapidly at night .... there are even frosts in some really high parts.    Kisumu is at an altitude of around 4,000 feet, which is about 4/5 of a mile high ! 

 














Aren't they colourful .... and they will be much appreciated by young children at the school for handicapped children we are going to after Kisumu.
