I've been trying to give some traditional English nursery rhymes an African slant ! Children love talking to a white person, and I love chatting to them ! I must see if the children living near the work site still remember 'Four stiff standers, four dilly-danders ...' which I taught them last year.
How about this for a start ?
"This little goat went to market,
This little goat in the shamba.
This little goat ate ugali,
This little goat had none !
And this little goat went 'baa, baa, baa, all the way home' !"
