Wonderful paintings by Bryan Hook; the Karen duka; bicycle memories; a Nazi house in Tanganyika and a fascinating letter about a buffalo spearing a man ! Apparently a Maasai had speared a buffalo, and the spear stuck in its head. The angry buffalo charged the man, and the shaft of the spear punctured the warriors chest; his companion finished off the buffalo and the injured man survived after hospital treatment ! Always something new out of Africa !
