G., the other lady on our team arranged a 'Pudding and Pampering' evening at a nearby college of further education ! One 'treatment' and a pudding included in the ticket price, more available if wanted ! So I gathered up a carload of friends, and we went !
The treatments were done by girl students who were all in training for the beauty industry ... we were their guinea pigs ! They were all young and ambitious, and very smart, and competent at what they did, even though they are still in training.
I decided to have a pedicure, as I've never had one before ... I now have beautiful feet with gold painted toe nails ! Then a pudding ... wow, no calories spared there ! I managed to eat three ... chocolate surprise, pavlova and delicious fruit salad. My friends had head massages, facials, manicures ... and one had a back massage, which sounded so relaxing, I decided to have one too ! The girl who did it was superb ... soft, soothing music, and her hands on my back were like a gentle ballet !! She was good.
One more pud and a cup of coffee, and we came home, pampered, relaxed and sweetly smelling ! It was an excellent evening. I've suggested to G. that she does it again as an after Christmas special ...
