I haven't forgotten my blog !

I'm off in a few days on my substitute trip ** to Israel, so although what I might write won't be about Africa, I suppose in a blog anything is possible ! 

I'm going on a pilgrimage tour, very similar to one I did with a group from this diocese about six years ago, led by our former/retired Bishop who is so knowledgeable about the Holy Land, that he is able to impart information with great skill.   The Dean from the cathedral is co-leader.   Wendy, whom I took to Kenya to work on the workshop building in Kisumu about four or five years ago, is also going on the tour.

So we fly B.A. from Heathrow to Tel Aviv, and our first few days will be spent in Bethlehem, in Palestine.   I shall continue ....
