... this is a site which has thousands of camera trap photos used to record animals and human activity in various parts (in this particular project) of northern Kenya. Previous projects have included counting animals on the Serengeti; there was one in a forest habitat, and one I think in Gorongosa. Members of the public are invited to scroll through as many or as few of the images as you want, and record what you see.
I usually participate whilst having an afternoon cuppa ! Today I have I.D'd and counted livestock, some children, giraffes, kudu, duikers and a dik-dik ! Its like Forrest Gumps box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get ! This past week I have recorded elephants, ground squirrels, oryx, sand grouse, baboons and a gerenuk !
