Yellow billed storks

Yesterday, I was sitting on the balcony, when I looked up, and saw about 200 large birds flying overhead, from the lake, which is to the west of where I was, and they were flying roughly east. I wonder where to ?   Maybe one of the Rift Valley lakes, or perhaps north towards Lake Turkana (L. Rudolph in the old days !)

Of course, I grabbed my binoculars and forgot the camera, but I am almost certain they were yellow billed storks, sometimes called wood ibis (which they aren't).   Google is a great help, in the absence of a bird book !

This is one of my late father-in-laws photographs from the 1960's, which just happened to be on a memory stick I have with me !   I think that's an Egyptian goose in the background.
